Culture

Our culture...

is what we get when 2 or more of us start sharing...

we believe in a SHARE culture, based on Security, Health, Access, Resilience and Evaluation…

It’s important to

  • say if we feel uncomfortable or uneasy about anything.

  • be non-judgemental or be too quick to jump to conclusions.

  • communicate with and support each other.

  • be well prepared - perfect planning prevents poor performance.

  • have reasonable and realistic expectations of each other.

  • be aware of our own boundaries and have respect for others.

  • work towards our common goals.

It’s good to

  • try to our best to set the right example.
  • support each other - as part of the community and as individuals.
  • be responsible for, and manage our own emotions.
  • communicate as well as we can.
  • try and include everyone in the challenges.
  • be polite, respectful and good mannered.
  • try and use inclusive and positive language as much as we can.
  • get things off your chest
  • accommodate differences - it can only make us stronger.
  • try and keep things light-hearted and enjoy ourselves.

It’s ok to…

  • express how we feel about things.

  • make slower progress than we’d like.

  • feel frustrated from time to time.

  • ask for clarification of someone elses point of view.

  • make mistakes if your hearts in the right place.

  • ask obvious questions.

  • not know all the right answers.

  • Experiment with good intentions.
